Life Sucks: 5 Ways To Deal With It

Life Sucks: 5 Ways To Deal With It

Sometimes the answer to things we deal with on a daily basis is to simply: “Find your zen”. You don’t have to practice Buddhism to adopt the principles and apply them to your daily life. Life isn’t always fair, it’s not always pretty, and you don’t always have it together - but you can learn to deal with it, without sacrificing your sanity or living sober.

Stop Putting The Blame On Others
When it comes to all the ups and downs of life simply quit blaming other people and own up to it. The moment you start taking responsibility for everything in your life you will start finding inner peace. This doesn’t mean you need to blame yourself, you just need to take action in finding what you can learn from each situation and how you can use it to shape your path.

Transform Your Bad Circumstances Into Your Path
Everything happens. Instead of blaming others, even when it is someone’s fault - you should try and find a way to train your mind into finding a change heart in the hardest situations. Meditation is a great way to train your mind to deal with things in a positive light.

Be Grateful - To EVERYONE
We are dependent daily on others, so it’s important to be grateful for each and every one of them. The person who helped you at the grocery store, the woman who sewed the designer purse you carry, the person who picked you up when you are at your lowest. Being grateful allows us to appreciate everything in a big way.

Do Good, Avoid Evil
Say ‘Hi’ to people when you pass them in the street. Congratulate them on accomplishments, give sympathy when needed, and lend a helping hand. Avoid being unkind and practice the willingness to accept responsibility for your actions. The more good you put out into the world, the more good you will get back into your life.
